A Bremerton-born local, I grew up on the outskirts of Mason County and graduated from North Mason High School in June of 2000. Midway through the end of my senior year I discovered a passion for fitness. After going through the motions of other jobs and squeezing my workouts in whenever possible, it finally dawned on me that I should combine the two. Acquiring my first training certification from the International Sports Sciences Association in 2005, I’ve worked with a varied clientele ever since.
After spending 13 years behind the scenes working as a front desk employee and eventually as an office manager I finally decided to strike out on my own and train exclusively. So in the summer of 2015 I opted to eschew the spreadsheets and facility management for what I truly loved doing: Training. Even though I’d spent years obsessively learning about fitness and bolstering my inventory of continuing education, I decided to take the plunge at that point and tackle college. So directly after leaving my long-term employment and starting a business I figured I’d enroll in the ISSA College of Exercise…all in the same year! The journey has been a long one but very rewarding and I’ve been so excited to share my knowledge and passion for fitness with others.
